Well i think mine may be on the way out ( might have something to do with the hydralic fluid in the drivers footwell ). I do have a warranty but not from the dealers ( warrenty holdings !?!) with a max of £1000 a claim, will they pay out for a new one???

Does anyone have a part number for a clutch kit? As i think there are near on £700 from TVR!

Any help greaty appriciated!!

Don't despair,
I think you've probably just got a seal, or pipe leak at the master cylinder. Is the fluid on the floor beside the pedals?

Mad-dot thanks for the reply!!! Yes there was fluid there!!! The fluid was also very manky!

I have heard that there have a number of cases where the problem is with the pressure plates!

Pressure plates are in the gearbox, fluid on the floor is either coming from the master cylinder, or squirting throught the transmision tunnel......unlikely
Also, the fluid gets manky because the seals are breaking down.

Problem really starts when the clutch is dragging and there is no fluid in the footwell. 3 clutches later (2 faulty ones from TVR) new master and slave piston followed by a flywheel was my first clutch experience. Hope yours is a little cheaper.
