My passenger side electric window on my Boxster 987 is moving up and down on it's own accord whilst activating the interior courtesy lights on and off!

It happened a month ago, once, but seemed to fix itself. Today it has come back BIG STYLE. It's as if somebody is pulling the door handle to drop the window.

Anybody else had this sort of problem?

I think we'd have to recommend an exorcist for that one.

Just check underneath the passanger seat and also behind the seat under the carpet and on the black box under the seat for moisture/water ingress.

Some times the door locks can cause this problem of going up and down on their own.

Had a 911 do this and turned out to be alarm module.

Thank you both for the advice. Didn't know whether this was a common fault.

It's all under warranty so I will sling it at the OPC and see what they come up with.

Failing that, anybody know a good exorcist?

You are bang on right mate, the OPC also stuck in a new electric window motor for good measure!

Fantastic service from OPC too
