Finally got a few weekends clear of work, so it's about time I stopped being so slack and organised another one of these popular meets.

Usual rules apply. All PH'ers welcome, any car as long as it's interesting. Meet in The Woodman carpark around 12:30pm until 2:30ish with a little run if anone fancies it.

For those who haven't been before here is a link to the pub with relevant directions etc.

www.thewoodman-idehill.co.uk/

So, is anyone up for it?

Just realised that it will be practically two years since the first SE London / NW Kent meet, so that makes it an anniversary meet!

Here is a link to the thread for last years anniversary meet for those who couldn't make it.

ncs is away on holidays for a few weeks at the moment, so I'll rally the local TVR troops in his absense, not sure how many we'll get on a Saturday though.

I might be down near the Woodman this Sunday, so could have a chat to Heinz if you like?

Well if Saturday is a problem, we could always change it to the Sunday. Would that be preferable?

Could be, only problem is that romanymagic has that down as a potential date for the next Kent Run.

Perhaps the two could be combined, finishing at the Woodman after a hoon...?

As suggested above, any chance of you planning to finish at The Woodman? Could be an excellent combination. thumbup

I agree that it would be a great to combine these two events. The only problem is that we're due to finish quite a while before the Woodman opens. Of course, we could make our run later but if we did, we'll end up hitting lots of traffic and then the run won't be as good. We are currently planning to finish up at a brunch venue near Junc3 of the M25. Any suggestions of how we might combine the two events would be great...

A long brunch before getting to the Woodman at 12 perhaps? Or we could meet at the Rose & Crown in Dunton Green and take a scenic twisty route over to the Woodman?

What time do you expect the run to finish?

Where near J3, the Oakdene by any chance or somwhere in the Swanley area?

Its not finalised yet but we'll be finishing no later than 11am. I've got a couple of places in mind - just need to sort out the route but The Oakdene is a strong possibility. Would that fit with your plans?

Would the Oakdene fit my plans.....? Is the Pope a Catholic

I'd imagine a few of the TVR lot (me included) would probably like to join the run (if you'll have us), while the lazier types could meet at the Oakdene.

Wherever we finish up, we could still elect to then head on after our brunch on to the Woodman, I would probably do this anyhow, but if others in our group wanted to come along as well then that would still work out well. thumbup

Definitely; me and Romanymagic were out last night and I was telling him how much I like TVRs. Anyway, here's the Kent Run thread:

Groomi, sorry to have hijacked your thread. To make up for it, I've put a link to this one on the Kent Run 2 thread. A few of us will head over to the Woodman after the Kent Run if you decide to go ahead with the Woodman meet on 15-Oct. We'll keep an eye on this thread...

Sorry, been incommunicado all afternoon. Yep, Sunday sounds like the best plan with the hardcore Kent Run double-headers joining us after their Brunch. I may even come and join you guys if the missus will let me out for the day.

Any mods reading this who can change the date in the thread title to Sunday 15th?

So we need a list of names so I can warn the Woodman of how many to expect. Tripps, yes, can you have a chat with Heinz please? We used to regularly get 40 cars and managed 80 or so for last years first anniversary meet. It'll be great to join the 2nd Kent Run with the 2nd Anniversary Meet. thumbup

List so far:

Groomi (Jag XJR / Pug 205 GTi)
Kevin Ritson (Lotus Elise 111S)
Tripps & TVR Clan (Lots of fibreglass & BHP )
L888DER (Lotus Exige)
Romanymagic (Z4) - maybe
Barry_j (Porsche 996 Turbo)
