G4 Slot Car Bodies

Those of you who have been in Ivor Walklett's office will have seen the 1/32 scale G4 slotcar that came from Japan. Some of us have been trying to track down the source of the model - either the complete thing or just the bodyshell - without success, so I thought it time to open the search up to a wider audience. does anyone have any ideas?

No ideas, but I'd like to hear about anything you find, as I'd love to have one.

I remember seeing a die-cast model of a very shiney BRG 60's G4 (without the two bulges) somewhere when I started researching the car. I'll see if I can find it again.
