Well, buying a house has been put on hold till the end of the year, and I'm booked in for a test drive of a Tuscan S at Castle on Saturday!

All things going well, I should be ordering one for delivery at the end of April/early May, just in time to get it run in ready for Le Mans!

Life doesn't get much better than this - I feel like a 5 year old on Christmas morning now!!

Now comes the hard part - working out which colour scheme to go for!!

What sort of talk is that when the British economy demands we all do our bit in these difficult times ? - especially the British car industry

ehasler,

Good on you! I picked up my new Tuscan S on Saturday from Castle. I assume you are liasing with Ian there...if so ask about the profile he did for my car...absolutely stunning.

Clearly...you can't copy my spec but he will be able to get the factory to do the aluminium finish rather than the brass finish etc.

If you want some idea on what he can do just look at the website on my profile - have to say Ian has to take the credit for it...I just had to hope and take the risk it turned out ok and its turned out awesome!!

Let me know what spec you choose m8.

Alan.

I've been looking at your pics - that is a stunning looking car!

I've not spoken to Ian yet - hopefully I'll meet him on Saturday, however at the moment I'm thinking of Moonraker black, not sure about the wheels - probably Anthracite I think. Not sure about the interior yet either - apparently all black looks mean, but I'd prefer a bit of colour in there I think. Maybe black and red, or black and grey.

I'm pretty sure that I'll go for the aluminium finish as well, but will keep you posted with whatever I decide!

If you went for Moonraker black, Anthracite wheels & aluminium finish that would be some mean looking Tuscan!

ehasler,

How did you got on at Castle yesterday? Did you test drive the Tuscan?

I spent a few hours there talking to Michael and Ian, although didn't go for a test drive as we spent most of the time working out colour schemes! I've put a deposit down on one though, and Michael has promised to take me out for one of his full-on test drives once their new "S" is run in!

Wahoooo!!!!!

I assume you know that Michael is the TVR factory race driver...and will be at Le Mans! So think your in for an exciting drive! I was taken out on the demo by the classic car racing driver they have helping out there.

So what spec are you moving towards then?

Yep - I'm well aware that Michael should be at Le Mans, so I can't wait for the test drive! That's actually part of the reason I chose Castle to be honest.

Spec wise, I'm going for the S, with Armourfend, Moonraker black, Anthracite wheels, stereo upgrade, rear speakers and possibly a set of the new cans that they are getting in soon. Interior will be black, with some bright red bits (not sure which bits will be red yet though), and ali dash. I'm also having the seat bottom and back done in that suede-like material that the door panels are covered in.

Hopefully, it'll look and sound really mean!

Sounds cool!

Castle are certainly doing themselves proud with the spec's that they are putting together

Shame you missed the Mid-Essex meet yesterday, we had over 60 cars there...oh & I won the raffle (twice!)
