Boiling an egg
Discussion
OK, here'e the problem; HTF do you boil the perfect egg?
I sometimes have two boiled eggs for breakfast but can never get them 'just right', i.e. both runny enough for 'soldiers'. By the time I've finished the first, the second is too hard and my Marmite soldiers are useless.
Solutions please....
BTW, I use a stopwatch to time them - 4' 20" after bringing the water to the boil. Is my timing way out or what?

If the first one is right then I would just run the second one under cold water to try and stop it cooking more inside the shell, that or lop the top off at the same time.I sometimes have two boiled eggs for breakfast but can never get them 'just right', i.e. both runny enough for 'soldiers'.
