after suffering from a flat battery my central locking system is refusing to lock the doors, do i have to reset the alarm? any advise would be great, cheers.

It may be worth disconnecting the battery for a few seconds, once it's fully charged. Things like this can happen if the battery is charged from flat whilst connected (ie. the voltage is brought back up gradually).

What he said...

META gets confused following a flat battery and recharge - you will find the remote wont work (and other problems too !) . Just remove the neg terminal from the car battery for 5 secs, put back on then try the remote immediately you should find its all ok.
