Been playing this the last few days, the demo version, but not very good at it.

Get the full version - it's only a tenner, and human opponents over the net tend to make more mistakes than the AI opponents.

but whats the stratergy?

I find my planes get wiped out, I cant find their radar, I launch my nukes too early and they get shot down.

Does the radar help the anti air take out the nukes. So are the radar the key in getting?

Hmm... difficult to recommend a single "winning" strategy.

I find it best to keep silos on air defence mode as long as possible, and hope the opponent gives away his silos' positions by launching nukes - then I target the silos, but don't launch from only one of yours, launch a single nuke from four silos at each enemy silo, and then get your silos back to air defence: this way, your nukes are arriving at an enemy silo at the same time, saturating the defences (rather than four nukes from one silo, approaching with a delay between each, thus being easy targets).
