I was just wondering if there would be a significant interest in a few of us going down to the outdoor track at Thruxton sometime soon. It would probably have to be an open event - "arrive & drive" instead of racing as the track is somewhat larger and there's no way we could afford an exclusive booking.

Obviously it's going to be quite a trek for those "oop north" and a stopover in a local B&B might be required.

So - who thinks they would be able to go in, say, the first week of November?

I'd be interested.

I think I'm getting in to this karting lark - I'm doing a 3 hr 'endurance' event with Goldtrack in a fortnight driving

Thruxton eh? I can stay at my parents and then it's a quick ride down the road from Swindon

Yikes 213 miles, it's a bit far for me ! May have to wait for something a bit more central

Definately be up for it but with UK952 junior arriving in late November (hope it doesnt come early) I still have several quazillion jobs to do around the house - like fitting doors/ getting carpet / furniture and in 1 room a cieling that isnt the floor of the room above it I think the rest of this year might be out
