A surprising lack of posts on this?

I pre-ordered it and it was delivered on Saturday. Have played a few hours of it over the weekend.

At first I was disappointed because it only covers 2003 and 2004 seasons. This is very disappointing, I can't even remember anything that happened in 2004 it was so long ago, and I'm not sure if I was born by 2003. However I have looked past this.

The driving school mode is quite interesting - they sometimes get you to do stuff in the wet with slick tyres on!

Racing seems pretty enjoyable, somewhat less difficult (and less frustrating) than GT Legends, whilst the graphics are good, although with a similar washed-out look to GTL.

Like, I suspect, many modern racecars, driving it is less about car control and more about track positioning and taking the correct line, which for those who liked to power-oversteer out of every corner in a Corvette in GTL might be a shame, but is more true to the modern cars it features which aren't so suited to this 'old-school' sort of driving. Driving the GTL cars on the throttle was fun, and letting them roll, understeer and oversteer at will, but there is a different type of fun and satisfaction to be had in GTR which comes from taking a corner with the correct line, no understeer and exiting the corner with as much speed on board as possible.

anyone else got it?
