The car in question is a 1993 (K) Peugeot 306, in red, with the 1.4 petrol engine, 100k miles and is in very good condition.

Anyone know what its worth?

Cheers

Yep, probably around £500. Sold my M-plate 1.4 306 for £700 a few months back, with similar miles. Had over 30 people calling for it at that price, though.

Didn't think £700 was too bad tbh, considering it had a dodgy sounding belt, badger damage on the front bumper, squealy brakes, a bit cut out of the rear bumper for a towbar...

Too old for Glass's !!

Still CAP's though : Clean condition £350
Average £175
Poor not alot!!

Retail value is around £700-900 with some sort of warranty and a service/MOT, so £500 seems a fair shout to me.

at that age its a question of condition and mechanical soundness, if its good on both counts then somebody might pay £1000 if its less than perfect in either or both areas it might be worth £150.

Be surprised if more than £300

My vgc 63K Rover 416 SLi (Honda Engine) K reg sold for only £300 and that was 8 months ago so if anything prices would have come down a tad

Popularity of Peugeot 306 vs. Rover 416 is the key...

I'd say £400-£700 ballpark dependant on condition and when last cambelt change, recent clutch etc

yes but 306 isnt orrible, isnt a saloon and is from a trading manufacturer

as above its all about condition, with a FSH, new MOT and in decent condition somebody might pay a grand and see this as a cheap years driving. A different car might have a couple of small errors, worn tyres and be due a MOT and only therefore be worth £200.

If you're looking to buy it, I'd offer £350 cash .... be prepared to move up by £50 at a push.

£300-£350 max - dont forget its a 13 yr old car!

My mate just got a '96 N Escort turbo diesel with 80K and 12 months ticket for £450.

Old cars just soooo cheap now!
