Howwwwwwwwwlscreeeeeeeechscreeeeeeeeeeech.

As for getting XBox-Live working, there is a wealth of information on the XBox-Live website. Follow the instructions there and if you have any specific problems then ask.

One gotcha is whether you're going to be using a wireless link between the XBox and your internet connection or a cable. If the former then you need to make sure that your equipment works with XBox. My Linksys Wireless Bridge does not work, for example, and I wish I'd realised that before I bought it. But I've plumbed in a cable now and all is well.

Would suggest using www.xbox.com on a PC to sign up as the virtual keyboard is a PITA.
When done, either plug CAT5 cable from broadband router to XBox, and switch on, or go out and buy the Xbox wireless thingy, then do same.
XBox should automatically connect, then you just sign in and play.

Yes, but it's a pain in the arse to enter your name, address, card details, etc. with the XBox controller. Far better to pre-create your account on a PC with a proper keyboard and then simply connect to it from the XBox.

And, as I said, make sure the 'wireless network picker upper thing' specifically says it works with the XBox. For total peace of mind it may be worth getting the official Microsoft one as it will obviously come with instructions specific to getting it working with the XBox.

It's cool, my brother managed to hook up a linksys WRT54G in wireless bridge mode using some custom firmware that supported 64bit WEP keys. Its all good now.

Or you could just plug a usb keyboard into the 360 and use that...
