I've been looking into a policy for a GT2 996 and was recommended this company. They will give a guaranteed agreed pay out value for the car no quibbles if it is stolen or written off, i get to chose the body shop if repair required, a like for like courtesy car, any driver fully comp, breakdown, European cover, protected no claims, windscreen cover on any other vehicle fully comp. The question is would you pay £240 over a quote from admiral for a policy like this.

Thanks in advance

I am with them, been very impressed, worth the slight extra for the peace of mind IMO. They really dont quibble on payouts.

Only downside is that they will not cover trackdays.

They just called me back.

The premium is an extra £60 a month - but it gives agreed value of £33k, fully comp on any car for me driving hehe, repairs carried out at Porsche, full Euro cover etc etc.

For peace of mind I might go for it - after all I don't have GAP insurance on my finance for a start, so if I had a shunt then I'd be several grand out of pocket when Tesco offer me a p15s taking settlement.

...true, and these cheap quote companies can only offer there premiums at reduced rates as they look to save costs come claim time. They are used to insuring fords vauxhalls etc and use any jo blogs body shop. Ok for a mondeo but i don't much fancy having a non porsche body shop repair a Porsche. How is that going to look in the history? It is likely to lose you a bundle come resale!

Precisely. I reckon I'm going to bend over and take it for the peace of mind in event I have a disaster. Imagine how hard I'd kick myself if I got shafted by Tesco all for a lousy £50 a month.

The broker's name Quantum on 0870 402 1900.

I just signed up with them for the no limit European cover alone. Not much more expensive either. I used Cheam.
