Hi

just had roller bearings fitted to a friends +8 at kensington classics in london. the difference was amazing well worth it and with great service. they allow the suspension to work and move freely giving lighter steering and better suspension feel. also they run the morgan driving experience !! using an aero 8 on track for experiences and tuition. i am tempted anyone been?

Hmmmmm...

I'm due a front suspension rebuild this winter, Is the roller bearing conversion really worth it? I was talking to one dealer who said he'd been asked to convert a few back to the old blade damper, but I don't remember why now :confused.

Not sure why that is, unless there was a fitment problem? dont forget they are standard on new cars now. I'm sure Dan at Kensington Classics or Peter Mulberry would be able to give more advice. I cant see any problem or why you would want to revert.

I was intending to push the boat out and fit the hard chrome king pins this time as well, so I just want it to be right when it all goes back together as I won't be taking that end to bits again for a few years!

I was also thinking about a panhard rod for the back axle - is it a worthwhile mod?

Cheers, Andy.
