Winter is approaching and some of us will be getting ready to pack our toys up till next year if not done already.

I was out over the weekend and a biker told me about Permabag which they use for storing their bike during the winter months. Some of you will already know aboout such items and I was wondering if they were worth the money

Below is a link to the web site

http://permabag.com/body/1/en_cars.ph

Any reccommendations welcomed

Cheers

Looks to be a bit too close fitting for my liking. Best with just a decent dry garage. A Carcoon would be better as it is not touching the bodywork.

Mind you, what do i know, most of us hardy folk just keep driving ... this was Wolds Wazz 3 - Feb 05

Hi Burriana

Thanks for your thoughts and I agree it dose look a bit snug.

I also agree with the thought of driving all year round but I don't think my car would react well to the salt in winter and I dont want it to deteriorate as it could do if not looked after.

Cheers

Matt

PS Being a true hardy Yorkshire man I too am no stranger to driving open tops in winter generally with snow between me and the windscreen, whats with the roofs up in the pic??

I used to have a kitcar and suffered from rusty disks during the winter when the car sat in the garage. Now with the TVR in a Carcoon they don't change , so it will pay for itself in terms of the cars condition. Still got a cheap dehumidifier to sit inside the Carcoon (possible overkill) from Woolworths when I noticed 50% off though. hehe

Oh, I noticed the recent Wolds Wazz but stupidly assumed the weather wouldn't be suitable for making progress in an old school TVR. How wrong I was paperbag banghead

I remember sitting on the M62 in blanket fog struggling to see the side of the road! The donuts in the Tamora were good fun though
