finally, the itch has been scratched. don't know how much i'll get to use it with 2 sprogs under the age of 3, but this is the car i've NEEDED for some time.

getting delivered monday or tuesday next week, from opc cardiff. 13k miles, red stripes (the blue ones are much slower i believe), pccb etc etc.

can't wait to get back on the track again. right time of year november / december too...

pics to follow, but you know what it looks like, they all look the same!

hey, the safest place to be was in the car... it was the people behind the barriers in the pit that were in danger...

anyone fancy a spin?

Sorry Rob, im not taking the P!ss.. You were incredibly unlucky, not least because you were at Bedford!

About 6 months before your spin, a MX5 driver did exactly the same thing as you but hit a GT3 coming out of the pit lane. Just bad timing and one of the risks you run.

Glenn on the other hand is a lucky sod having managed to reaffirm his membership to the 'magic roundabout' club at the ring of all places, managing to miss everything!

Pleased to hear you're getting an RS, I guarantee you'll love it.. Will you be coming to Spa in '07??

A spin at the top of Eau Rouge may not be a nice way to learn the car eek

doubt i'll be learning it there... i would like to have plenty of experience at bedford and silverstone before venturing out to euroland.

btw glenn, i'm also taking delivery of an orange and black 997 gt3rs in the next few days. i'll give you a full report on it's handling after i've finished playing with it on the lounge carpet...
