Can someone tell me whether or not the rear window of the S2 is removable or not? Thanks.

I read a review back when they came out and they said it wasn't. May have changed on later cars.

The short answer is no.

And so is the long answer.

I thought the long answer was "yes it is removeable, with a housebrick. However, you may incur a charge when trying to put it back in... or maybe some cuts on your fingers"

Try driving over speed humps - it might fall out.

apparently on an S1 all removing the window does is fill the cockpit with fumes. I haven't bothered - is it worth it?

Yep, keeps you warm in winter, and the difference in sound is fantastic, if you like that sort of thing!
Fumes aren't a problem if the roof is off.

Definitely makes a huge difference to the whole experience, hood off, rear window out.

A lot more wind buffeting, and a lot of hot air from the engine means that its not for everyday driving, but if you fancy a blast, go for it
