Actually ignore my post above! I wouldn't want probably 9 of them players who played yesterday at the City Ground next season. Total rubbish & it's just as well we had as many as we did otherwise we would be fighting relegation!!!

I watched the Football League Show earlier and Neil Warnock made a good point.

He wondered why the club have written this season off as they have. It's not like your mid table and going nowhere or cast adrift at the bottom with no hope of getting out. Yet no one seems to have a sense of urgency to appoint a new man (I know Pearce is coming in on July 1st but why not get someone else sooner?).

Very puzzling.

I think the club didn't want to offer somebody a long term contract & they wanted somebody to come in till the end of the season. Nobody wanted to do this for obvious reasons & Pearce was only available after the world cup etc. I think the club realised that we were likely to lose alot more games with this "current" squad & knew that our injured players would be making a return with possibly only 1 or 2 games left, by then it was always going to be too late.

It's ok, I was asked if I wanted to join a load of Leeds fans from Hampshire to Leeds on the coach.
I declined! hehe

Superb news! bounce

I am really confident about next season if we can keep our better players & get rid of the rubbish ones.
I still maintain that had we not had all these injuries this season, we could have finished in the top two. I am convinced of that because we were playing terrific football every week.

Well I hope your enjoying your Easter Monday!
Who is this Derbyshire guy? Didn't know he played for us under Billy!
McLaughlin looks good.

What a season! If we get into the playoffs I'll be more confident than any previous attempt as we always seemed to go into it on a downturn in form, whereas at the moment old Gazza Brazza seems to have picked up Billy's mess and got the team playing again. McLaughlin's pass for the first goal was quality.

It's written in the stars, it'll come down to the last game of the season, then direby in the play offs.

As a Derby fan I am praying that doesn't happen.
Don't think my heart could take it.

Why? You just know Bamford will score the decisive goal in the 119th minute of second-leg extra time...

Would Pearce still take over if we were to get promoted (I am literally living in dream land I know)
Surely promotion would change everything????? Pearce is totally expecting to manage us in the Championship next season & I suspect he will do everything in his power to keep it that way. hehe
