God only knows. I'm lost for words tonight, really I am.
I don't think Pearce should go anywhere, and I don't think Fawaz would let him. Yes, we're missing two key players but even without Reid and Cohen, we can be better than this.
I've not gone tonight due to illness and I'm glad I didn't I think!

I thought we got off to a good start and then, typically, we went one down and the whole squad almost gave up. Osborn had a great game and deserved MOTM in my opinion. I thought Antonio looked lazy and almost assisted Norwich and their goal. Dan Harding also looked good.
And then the last ten minutes was where the squad really pulled together and made it happen - why can't they do that for the full 90 minutes?!
In other news, Pearce has just bought a new house in Linby (near Papplewick) and, I don't think he'll be going anywhere as the Al-Hasawi family are right behind him.

Just when things pick up on the pitch it looks like things will get far worse of the pitch for the club. We have to submit our books in 3 weeks time & the club have already admitted to over spending by a considerable amount. Rumour has it that we are going to be banned from signing any new players for the next 3 transfer windows!!!!!
SP's team talk before the Wolves game should simply be "do not allow this to happen & go out there & show your opponents what Nottingham Forest football club is all about" !!!!

Think we could still sign players on a one in, one out basis.
Rules are so unclear at the moment it's not true.Amount has been changed after this season so instead of going down, a club can lose £13m per season in line with Premiership.
With regard to sanctions, well that's just as vague. Teams are allowed a squad of 24 (?) players over 21, any more than that they have to sell before they can buy.
At the moment Forest have 22 players over 21 in the squad, so even with FFP sanctions they could actually sign 2 players!
Players signed have to be on a wage of under £10k per week which is not a lot for Forest as we're amongst the top payers in the Championship.
Where loan players fit in with this is unknown. If a player is on loan until Jan but then that loan is extended until the end of the season is that a new signing or an existing squad member, no-one knows.
It's bizarre that the FFP rules are on cash amounts, eg this season Forest are allowed to "lose" £6m which (for example purposes only) is 10% of their turnover. Mansfield Town are allowed to lose the same amount which could be 500% of their turnover. How does that help balance the books or restrict clubs to working within their means? FFP rules should be based on a percentage of turnover.
And in Scotland Aberdeen were this week effectively given £15m. How does that fit with FFP?
The whole thing is a joke.
As expected ....
The Football League has confirmed that Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers will be placed under a transfer embargo.
Three Championship clubs have been punished for breaching financial fair play rules while discussions are ongoing with a number of others.
The embargo will be imposed on January 1 for the rest of the season, preventing them from making any transfers apart from loan signings and free agents.
Leeds, Forest and Blackburn all exceeded losses of £8million in the previous league season and a fine is also possible.
We've only gone and won £250k from the Sky transfer fund lottery thing!
"Nottingham Forest are subject to a transfer embargo under Football League regulations for the remainder of the current season from January 1, but the club can use the prize money to pay the wages of players coming in on a free transfer or on loan. "
