FIA & Teams in agreement
Discussion
Does this mean the years of bickering can be put to bed, I wouldnt count on it.
The FIA has found a deal with leading car manufacturers involved in F1 to safeguard the future of the sport and end a long battle over how the sport should be run.
FIA presidet Max Mosley and BMW's Burkhard Goeschel met representatives from the four major newspapers in the UK, France, Italy and Germany over lunch and told them a new agreement was being drawn up to govern the sport for at least the next five years.
The deal will end any talk of a breakaway series.
