Can't imagine Nascar will be too popular with the average PH reader, but I thought I'd take a punt.

Lately I've been in a mood for Nascar and have been watching a load of old videos on youtube etc. I think it looked really interesting in the late 60s early 70s when the cars were pretty much silimlar to what could be bought from any dealership at the time (I have a huge thing for yank tanks of that era). I get the impression that there is a lot more to it than just mindlessly driving round in circles for a few hours which seems to be the reputation it has on this side of the pond.

I was wondering whether anyone know of any decent DVDs that I could pick up. Something like the season reviews that are available for F1. I like the idea of being able to pick the sport up at a time in the past and follow it through a few seasons without any prior knowledge of what's going to happen, who's successful and who's not. Sort of like watching the seasons live, just 30 odd years later. I'm afriad that if I go Googling there will be so much stuff found that I'll never be able to seperate the wheat from the chaff.
