I have a 1992 'K' reg rover 214 with about 130,000 miles on the clock. It had a new clutch and gearbox fitted about 10 months ago. When I got it back, the car juddered when pulling away from a standstill. I was told that this was just because the clutch was new. However, it has never got any better and I am now wondering what it might be.

Any help appreciated.

Sounds like a faulty clutch to me or contamination to clutch plate from rear main engine seal or gearbox input shaft.
Check for leaks

Thanks James. I have arranged for the garage to look at it later this week. Everything still under warranty so, hopefully....
