Is it just me, or is the morning commute on the M4 into town unusually bad at the moment?!!

I did jc10 to jc2 for 18 months and then jc2 to jc4 for 12 months.

Traffic is always worse when it's sunny in the winter, there are long stretches around Reading and Slough which point straight at the sun.

Now I just cross Reading to get to work

Yep it's cack. A seasonal thing late November up til Christmas is always worst.

However I do have to say the number of smashes does appear to be a lot higher over the last couple of weeks than normal.

Just wait for the Christmas break - journey times to jc2 are cut by 2/3rds

Hopefully tomorrow will be be better - Fridays are normally a doddle.

Never mind eh! The trip in is normally a bit of a git, but I always enjoy the drive home - the blat after coming off the elevated section and if I've got time to treat myself - the B road option after junction 5
