Here an interesting interview with Dan Olson, the new NHRA Director of TF and FC racing

If NHRA allows Dan to implement changes he may well pull TF and FC back from where he suggests its heading, 3 major teams and 8 car fields.

I also like his comments at the end of the article about what happened with Tony Schumacher during the final Saturday night qualifying session at Pomona, where Tony should have shutoff, as it was leaking oil. Dans comment was " He should have been disqualified". He's going to come out fighting, which if NHRA allows him can only be good for the sport.

It sounds to me like his appointment will be a very good thing for the NHRA. I disagree with a lot of the reactionary rule changes they have out in place which have only had the effect of increasing costs and damage, and Olson's approach seems to be trying to change this.
