HELP!! Am I liable as registered owner?

Hi all. I've just had a disasterous few weeks.

An (ex) pal was caught driving my TTR on the M25 at 73mph in a variable 60mph limit. I've just recieved an NIP requesting the drivers details.

Obviously I know the drivers name (b'std!), but don't know his current address. I know his old address, but I know he has recently moved from there without leaving a forwarding address.

If the police cannot trace him at this address, am I responsible as the registered owner of the vehicle?

Any advice much appreciated.

simply fill it in stating who the driver was and his last address. then its up to them to find him and prove who the driver was.
depanding on the type of photo you can always prove its not you if you can make out the driver...

yep...you should be fine...you CAN give the drivers details, and it isnt your problem to find him.....
