I doubt anyone (bar them) is pleased with it. Clifton Suspension Bridge is going up from 30p to 50p from Jan 1st too! Also a 20p increase but a huge one in %age terms.

what a stupid amount. why not just call it quits at a lady, instead of having to fumble around looking for 10pence

I came back from Le mans 3 years ago in the Caterham absolutly knackered and forgot to check if I had the £4.90. I pulled up at the booth and said to the pretty laydee that I only had £2 odd and as I'm only little can I sneek under the barrier?hehe

I said I had a few Euros and we eventually agreed on £2 odd and a hand full of euro change beer

good girl, you knoiw it makes sense clap

unrelated now but sod it; a few months back i broke down what must of been literally 100 yards after the last exit before the bridge going westbound. Had to call my recovery company who sent out some fella from brizzle to get me, but the bugger made me pay the tolls for his truck too, was about £15 in total! And even then i had to borrow it, i only just had enough for the car smash

MacDonalds is a franchise IIRC.

Everyone should just refuse to pay silly prices for the crossing. What is the alternative, come back Monmouth way? That is not a good alternative, and they know it, so they know they got us. But as they have everyone who counts in their pockets, we got no chance.

They don't charge me a penny. Just hand over the blue badge, sign the form and they open a barrier. What are you all bitching about.

My Moth in law has a stickle cripper, it's useful to take her on days out over the bridge (well just to bring her back really)

Try going through in a small van if you really want to get stung mad. I always go out over the bridge but come back down the M50. At least they don't charge bikes yet and you can tow a van on a trailer with a 4x4 and still pay car only charges.
