This thing is on www.autotrader.nl for 15,000 euro(about 10k sterling)
It was made in 1981 but one thing I guess the seller forgot to mention is that a child made it out of paper and sellotape.
The seller is www.grootauto.nl/

That is so bad it's almost cool. You'd have to drive it in a matching LEGO outfit

It is almost as bad as this

Visit www.priceofhistoys.com to read about it
Well it should match the original on performance, a powerful 1500 beetle engine.....Feel THE POWER!
It is supposed to be a simplified Countach.

Exeptional motorcars

Whats exceptionable about it the fact that its exceptionally ugly?

Whoaa!! Look at the back on that!!. This is what happens when you build a kit mould from memory

No I've seen a Countach and it sure doesn't look anything like that. No suree bob.

It reminds me of '80s scalextric moulds - perhaps they are full size models of scalextric? Bet you there is a giant pick-up at the front and a no-slip back axle with a giant plastic crownwheel..

Look at the piece of masking tape holding the cover for the exhaust on!!!!!!
The wheel arches are like something from an 80's computer game.

Owners exact words-
“The car is a ’simplified’ replica of a Lamborghini Countach based on a Volkswagen 1500. The engine is an unmodified 1500 engine. Perhaps I will replace it with a tuned engine soon. I don’t know anything about the coachwork on this car (who manufactured it, where it comes from) so I would appreciate if someone could tell me who made it.”

“It has black leather interior, with black and red leather seats and black carpeting. It has a homemade aluminum dashboard, with all the necessary gauges.”

“When I bought the car it was about 40% completed, and I have spent more than 6 months putting it together. In the beginning there was some kind of electrical system in it, but I didn’t like the way it looked so I tore it out and made a new one from scratch.”

“The engine consisted mostly of a pile of dirt when I recived it, but with help from my father I managed to make it run again. It is coupled to a VW 4-speed gearbox.”

“The current windshield is the second windshield I have bought, because this summer, when I was driving around looking at some swedish girls, the locks for the hatch over the luggagecompartment ceased to work, and the hatch flew up and smashed the windshield. Oops…”

“The wheels are Whitespoke-wheels with VW bolt pattern. The tires are Kelly Supercharger 225/60-14 in front, and 275/50-14 rear.”

“The suspension is standard VW-suspension exept that it is, somehow, made very stiff. Due to that, the body-roll is minimal, and together with the wide wheels, the light weight (870 kg; 1920 lbs) and the low center of gravity the cars roadholding is quite impressive.”

“I have a big rear wing for the car, and I have had it attached for a while, but I had to remove it again because the swedish police didn’t like it.”

One last look

Funny the builder of this tried to make a ferrari Daytona replica but forgot what daytona lights looked like so he put Mercedes SL ones on, whats worse that he ruined a Corvette or somehow managed to ask 15000 euros for it,
Did he realise that Daytona's had chrome bumpers?

It begs the question WTF!

This is supposed to Be a Testarossa replica!
I personally like Fieros but who in Gods name could do this to any car?!?!?!?!??!

Read the owners description-
“You will find many kit cars on ebay. Each one built to replicate or imitate 355’s or Diablo’s. This is not the case here. This car has taken on its own life. It began life as a GT Fiero V6 (Very Fast). The first owner took the reins to produce a Lamborghini Countach. He sold it to another man with many Countach kits; he ultimately got bored with it. Crossing race car ruggedness with low sweeping Lamborghini lines this car has evolved into what you see here. Hand crafted out of aluminum with a custom triplex windscreen. Over the years it has attracted a lot of interesting looks as 1 of a kind.

If you want to do something different I would build off of current trends. If you look at the latest Batmobile driven by Christian Bale then you will see the same rugged hard metal look of this kit. Paint this car flat black, tint the windows and add a few triangular aluminum panels and you have yourself the 1st Batmobile replica of this generation. Wild, razor edged, and rugged.

The car has been sitting for a while in a nice garage. It may have engine trouble so I will throw in another Fiero with the deal. I guess that’s 2 cars for 1 price! Anyways I think it has potential so if you have the time, make something cool out of this thing.”

God help us all if this is what the Kit Car industry has come to.

It was used in the NCAP crash test then thrown from a cliff then hit repeatedly with a hammer and this is the masterpiece you end up with.

My word.. Some people have too much time, and clearly too little skill, on their hands..

I wonder if anyone actually buys them... If they do, I wonder why...
