Can't see why it's so expensive. I bought one from OPC Tonbridge in the summer and it was £110. This was for a Cab as well.
I tried to get a Bosch from my local motor factor and he told me, main dealer only as the Bosch batteries were not up to the job.
Mind you, even with the Porsche battery, it still went completely flat recently after a month with out use. I then bought a CTEK battery conditioner which stays plugged in all the time and saves having to manually get the boot unlocked!!!

That price will be fitted to the vehicle ready to go !!
The batterys are dry charged (no acid in them) so yo uhave to buy the acid in all fairness the opc in wilmslow fills the battery for you(probably a health and safety issue) and then charges it so it is topped up.
All that for £110 as said previous.

I bought a bosch silver in costco for £50 or thereabouts. I measured the physical size of the battery and noted the specification of the original battery and went down there to look. It says fitting for 911 on the side of mine as it happens.
Slightly different size requiring a little messing about with fitting (no prob though 15 mins work), but vastly superior battery.
No issues so far after 6 months through the winter - car is used once a week normally but no issues starting after 3 weeks of non use

Sure, the alarm will sound if you don't leave the key in when you swap it and you'll need to re-enter the radio keycode and possibly reset the windows but that's about it. You shouldn't be paying more than about £60 for a battery.
