Hi PH'ers, really hope you don't mind this post on here and if you want it removed,no problem.I'm looking to sell my number plate UFO 3 and thought that it would suit a GT3/Porsche owner. The gambling debts have finally caught up with me and with the Cheltenham festival around the corner i'm trying to raise some capital......will i ever learn?(Got a banker this year!!).Have got the ad up on the classified board but this does'nt seem to generate many views.Hoping that one of you Goldman Sachs employees wanting to blow a bit of yor bonus can help!! You KNOW it would look good!!!

Thanks for looking and sorry for any offence caused.

Kind regards Tim.

Maybe because of how much £££ you want for it, i'll give you what it sold for in 2003 - £5,100

I'd buy it if I had a UFO.

Have you tried advertising it on the "Mars Gazette"?

If you paid auction fees etc on purchase then that's a cost to you. The next buyer wouldn't want to reimburse you for them within an inflated sell on price!
I think a private plate is only "worth" what someone else is willing to pay for it, regardless of how much it was bought for.

Suggest you stick it in the Sunday Times. Worth paying their fee, speculate to accumulate. Avoids the ridiculous numberplate dealers costs and if you price to sell it you will. Wether you do or don't this isn't the place for adverts.
