Got my 996 turbo s cab at the weekend, what a great car.

As said before , yes you can retro fit all the bits, but it expensive, My boxster S has a samll carbon pack, which includes hand brake / gear knob, centre consul, clocks surround and heater / stereo + that strip below air bag.
It does look fantastic and is rare as a rare thing this side of a GT2.

I retro fitted carbon Interior on my Gt3 RS
try Gert at www.carnewal.com based in belgium and uses the same supplier
as the Porsche AG
+ the delivery is quick - ask for discount

you can find the hard to get bits like ignition and hazard warning surrounds through
E-bay ( though .. buying beware )

Just to correct, a small carbon pack = centre vent, dial surround and the 3 part strip. It does not include handbrake/gear lever which is a separate option.

The picture shown has a large carbon pack whchi includes the side vents and door handles and door speaker surrounds (also a few extra leather bits). I talso has another option for the full effect - the rear centre console in carbon.

Can be retrofitted but the dash bits are fiddly (dash out job) and Porsche retro parts prices are ludicrous - buy original parts from another source such as essential styling and get an indy to fit. My guess is about £1500-2000 for a large carbon pack fitted. The handbrake/gearlever would be about £500-600, the rear console about the same but you could fit these yourself.

OK thanks for that, so mine has a small carbon pack and the gear lever and hand brake. I'll have a look at the original spec sheet tonight and let you know waht the cost was originally, I seem to think a figure of £2150 comes to mind, but not sure if that included the Knobs. Gear Knob very tacktile.
