I posted the above on 15th May 2006.
Which by my reckoning means I will have managed without a 911 for exactly 252 days by the time I pick up my 997S next Tuesday!!!
It's been good popping in here every now and again, but to be honest I felt like a bit of a fraud while I was driving the GTI.
But now I can hold up my head once more and proclaim that I own a 911.
And I am very happy.

Crikey. 252 day.
What's the spec of the new car?
What's the spec of the new car?
Yep, 6048 hours. Seems ages when you write it out, and I'm surprised I lasted that long.
Conveniently (or ridiculously if you'd prefer to listen to my fiancee) the spec is very similar to my old one.
Carrera 2S 2005/05, with a few little extras like sports seats, sunroof, BOSE and PDC although it's Basalt Black instead of Seal Grey.
