Looking to buy a Boxster. Thinking i want 3.2. Have owned a Corrado vr6, tvr chim 4.3. Would happily buy 2.5 / 2.7 but not sure that it's going to have the grunt that i require. Any advice appreciated.
the 3.2 is a good engine and its linear power delivery is superb.
Strangely, the 2.7 doesnt feel that much slower maily because its geared differently.
Bottom line, only you can decide if its got enough grunt. Test a 3.2 - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
3.2 is great.I used to have one.
Test drove a 2.5 at the time but it was gutless really.
You wont like a 2.5 or 2.7 coming out of a Corrado VR6 which has awesome torque.
You wont get an OPC warranty on a 2.5 either
