Advice on 993tt
Discussion
Despite being fairly new to Porsche and PH, I have been doing much soul searching (and not a little looking at the bank balance and avoiding the wife's gaze) and have decided to move from my current 964 to 993 and have set my heart on the 993 tt. While there are a few around at the moment (Northway, RSJ etc - not sure why the one at RSJ has not sold yet as it looks awesome?) I am happy to take my time and I was hoping the PH collective could point me in the direction of some of the things to look for? What mechanical work would you want to see done and roughly at what mileage time...new turbos at xx mileage, new clutch here etc?
I know this is not an exact science but I've come to realise that learning to truly 'read' a service history is an acquired skill
Thanks a lot

Ant, I wouldn't waste a lot of time trying to 'read' a service history... I'd simply get a tech along to view and drive the car. They spot stuff that you or I would miss in an instant and can tell a good 'leggy' one from a low mileage 'minter' that's actually a complete hound that will cost you a fortune. I just don't believe you can read a service history that well (they can read pretty much what you want them to). The car tells a much better story.

Agreed...though as said not sure why the black one on RSJ has been there for a while. Looks a great spec...has it got history?
Not sure why the RSJ one hasn't gone, IMO it's a reasonable price for a 1998 'S'....maybe it's the tan leather or people match teh mileage against the price and think it's too much?
