I learned the M12 will be imported into the US as a roller by a company called 1G Racing, headed by a Superformance Cobra dealer named Ron Rosen. The price is $53,700US. The buyer will be able to buy a package to turn his supplied Ford Duratec 3.0 liter engine into the Noble version twin turbo. Has anyone heard of this?

RSA,

This was posted on the Noble Owners club site the other day: www.theracesite.com/index.cfm?pagetype=2&form_article=4931. It did a parade lap at Sebring a couple of weeks ago. And there is a mention of 1G racing in the press release.

The price that you quoted sounds a good deal though as it's about £14000GBP cheaper than here in the UK. Although it sounds like it will just be a stock Ford unit and not Noble tuned one.

The Cobra link may be something to do with the M12 sharing a facility in SA that makes Cobra replicas for the US market. Just a guess though.

If you find any more information let us know.

Cheers

What an experience...recently test drove the 1st Noble in the US...there are no words in the English dictionary to describe my experience. I am still reeling...I've GOT to get this car. Thanks Ron...

Does the $53700 include the engine or not?

And is the twin turbo engine supplied by Noble or is it a 3.0l Duratec modified in the USA?
