Merrily cruising along at the weekend, minding my own business when suddenly the drivers side window decided to lower itself and the Warning Door Open appears on the display beeping away..two mins later go over bump in the road and the warning goes away and the window is then able to be returned to full height, later on same journey, another bump window lowers itself etc etc...This acrries on for the whole journey and I think I am going to be lucky and get home when it is in UP mode wqhen a litle bump at the drive way causes it to lower..aaaaghhh.
Any way had to garage it with window half open....

Is this a loose connection or a faulty sensor? Either way is it something I can fix or does it need to go bakc to the dealer for a 10 min fiddle and fix?

most likely it's the emergency release handle cable being too tight and when the car body flexs it pops the door open.

Get it adjusted.

Oops, too quick on the keyboard, maybe it is the door encoder !!!

I had this last winter, always when it was raining!

It is a cheap little door sensor
