ApplianSys is a UK-based venture capital-backed company which designs and markets server appliances – servers featuring a tailored combination of hardware and network application software to carry out one specific task in a network.
Sales of over £2m have already been achieved across Europe and USA, to an impressive list of blue-chip customers.
Up to this point, ApplianSys has relied on strategic partners to carry out its software development. Now, ApplianSys has obtained its third and largest round of venture capital funding to date and is set to increase the pace of its expansion dramatically.
We are looking for dynamic, very technically focused developers with fluent Linux, solid C and good knowledge of (or proven ability to learn) Python. Any exposure to web (Perl, Java, PHP), networking (Apache, BINF, Samba etc.) would be beneficial.
You will help found our new product technical development function, working on the product software and web interfaces needed to expand and enhance our product offering.
The role is based on Coventry, and would suit people passionate about technology and working within a small, tight-knit, dynamic team in a rapidly growing market.
