Obviously got magpie genes in me somewhere as the thought of more shiny bits inside my car is most appealing..

Spoken to the Leven people and they need a reasonable number of orders before they will do a run of these things, (its just not worth their while otherwise..).

So, if anyone is interested in switches and/or stalks, either post back here or drop me an email via my profile and I'll build up a list and I'll get back to Leven with the numbers. If we get enough, hopefully they will do a production run and I ought to be able to get back to you with a fair idea of the price.. So, let me know and I'll get back to you all asap..

What would help aswell is to let me know if you want stalks and have any idea if the ones on your car are not standard. I don't think I have ever seen any that are different to mine, but I understand there are half a dozen thread sizes for gear knobs which are causing Leven some grief at the moment..

Right, I'm up for some tasty switches!

I've got a - RF - FF - EM - F - arrange,ent

RF - Rear Fog
FF - Front Fog
EM - leccy mirrors
F - 2 position fan

I'm also up for some stalks too. Problem appears to be the "active ends" for the horn and screen wash... so I was wondering if they could be rewired to buttons on the steering wheel? (the type that goes behind the boss, as seen in race cars).

Hopefully Simon will appear at the Mid-Essex meet on Sunday, so I'll see if I can persuade him a bit more, and discuss some of the options!

Hadn't realised there were different combinations of switches; should have done really. Mine left to right are 2 speed blower, rear fog, front fog, instrument lights..

Electric window switches either side would be good.. Mirrors are tucked away by my left knee..

I managed to get the three dash dial switches from LeeBee, but would be very interested in some stalks (and most other bits you can ally) !

Isn't ally this seasons black ????

'leccy window switches would be nice... although I'd still like mine to "glow" in the dark...

Ted? Surely you must be interested?

Found some pics of what I was on about - could maybe wire the horn and / or screen washer to one of these...?

... or if a single button is required...

I think you might have problems with the electrical connections on those. Not a problem on race cars as the wheels tend to only turn 360 degrees or less, but on a road car where you have a number of turns lock to lock you'd need to come up with an arrangement similar to that employed when you have a horn push in the centre of the wheel i.e. a pair of fixed rings on the column for each connection with corresponding brushes/tabs on the wheel to make contact with them.

Hmm... maybe... although I seem to recall that I've seen it on Clive "Zertec" Reed's car..

I'm always happy to stand corrected. I'm used to it after all these years!

Think he used his to put on the brake lights when he wasn't braking - should get rid of the tailgaters!

Put me in for a set too, three standard stalks

Two electric window switches either side of the centre column, and fogs, fans and illumination on the dash, as as well as a blanking switch to cover the empty slot (future project for fan override).

Would also like to replace the nasty plastic Black collar behind steering wheel, but I don't reckon ally would work there :-(

Other items I'd like to see are:

* Locking Fuel Cap
* Ally Dial Fitments
* Ally Blower Fitments (Circular in Centre Console, Rectangular in Dash)
* Gear Knob (as already mentioned)

and anything else I've forgotten that looks like black plastic!

Probably in the future outside and inside door handles also...

Toughy that one apparently... I believe several people have looked at it... LeeBee said he'd give it a go... but all has gone quiet. Sort of solution in the Bible...

Send the clocks to Speedy Cables - costs about £100 IIRC

LeeBee has done the rims for the round ones... although I doubt it's too much work... I'll see if I can lean on Leven! Same goes for the square ones... they do ones for the Griff which are a bit bigger... so might not be too much work?

er... mine ARE shiny!!!

I've been thinking that... going to try and get some matching leather and cover it...

here is a pic of mine done IIRC by speedy cables. Interior has remained fairly standard in the last year, although it now has a leather wheel rather than the wood one and a leven handbrake which adds to the shiny gear knob

Nick Pelosi has ally inserts for his Wedge, they just clip over the dials already in place, far easier than removing all the dials - I was hoping for something like that...

My interior door handles though shiny, are also a little bendy, also got a few scuffs on the outside handles, which I've heard can't be replaced, hence the request.

No website for Speedy Cables IIRC. Paceracing had the dials done on his S2 (prior to selling up) - so there are some pics on here SOMEWHERE - he started the thread, so look under his name! (I would look, but we've got connection problems and things are S L O W here at the mo!).
