I use www.laterooms.com to find good hotels wherever I stay.

Anfield is not that great an area, obviously is the footie capital of the world, but you might be better staying more in the centre, only a very few miles away and a short taxi ride.

Nothing around Anfield unless you want a DSS welcome B&B.

Loads in the centre though, all the big chains plus some pretty fancy independants. Only a few miles to Anfield, wont cost more than a fiver in a cab.

What kind of budget are you looking at? Only a few of the city centre hotels have their own car park. Let me know if you need any more info.

If you are going to the footy try

www.merseytravel.gov.uk/information_bus_soccerbus.html

This is very central with a secure car park

Agree about Anfield area. World centre of Football excellence, but nowhere decent to stay.
Have a look at Tripadvisor.com
www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g186337-Liverpool_Greater_Liverpool_England-Hotels.html
Lists top rated hotels as voted for by the public, ie unbaised!

Try the Camapanile or Formula 1 near the Albert Dock.

62 Castle St has no parking at all. There are a few at the Albert Dock but it is pay and display and many others are NCP although the Marriott is bang in the centre with it's own mulistorey (NCP)as well as Holiday Inn. As said, Campanile, Fomule 1 (if sharing showers is your thing!) Ibis, Crowne Plaza (may have to pay) have own parking, Radisson, Malmaison, Thisle Altantic have nearby NCP.
