I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT BOTH THE 'AP' AND BREMBO.
AP'S FOR THE CSL ARE ABOUT 1700 AND BREMBOS NEARLY 3K.
HAS ANYONE ANY VIEWS ON WHAT TO GO.
THE BREMBOS ARE A FLOATING DISC SYSTEM BUT ARE THEY WORTH TWIVE THE PRICE !

thanks in advance

My brother went through this a year ago he now has the AP's and has been very happy with them. Billy83, email him for more help, his profile is here: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?h=0&memberId=43175&f=182&t=272130

Mate i got the APs done on the CSL and i haven't looked back since. I think if you were to ask everyone who has had it done you'd find that everyone feels the same. The APs work beautifully with the car and are UNBELIEVABLE... went to silverstone the other week and managed to do 15 to 20 laps each time i went out and only came in out of mechanical sympathy for the car, the brakes just keep going forever. Seriously tho, go for the APs with Pagid RS29s and AP 5.1 brakes fluid, you wont look back, makes undoubtedly the weakest point about the CSL its stongest and as a result makes the car PERFECT. Also means you can show those pesky 911s how quick our CSLs really are... they just can't deal with the pace!! (GT3RSs included!)

I haven't heard any complaints about the APs to date. That said, I'd still recommend first trying OEM Setup with Pagid RS19 pads, racing fluid (Castrols SRF) and steel braided hoses before you decide whether you really need anything more.
