The lad can certainly drive.

At 1.50ish, what overtakes him?

Looks like a Ferrari..

BTW - the guy must be really un-lucky to come across so many cars on their cooling down lap

An appreciation of fast 911s...from a passing TVR Cerbera. Love it. hehe Like the tune, too.

Overtaking car I believe is a 430 Challenge (by the looks of the rear spoiler).

Nice video and well pedalled...

It has to be said though that 505bhp/440lbft and a couple of hundred kilos less weight, it SHOULD be quicker!!

Nah sorry, should have pointed out it's not his fast Cerbera it's his old 4.5. Just as well really, it benefits the video.
It would be crap if everything he passed was just a blur.

Still a couple of hundred kilos lighter and 413bhp... My comment still stands albeit a slightly smaller margin!

wasnt this posted the other day ??

anyways, 2:10, thats a brand spanking 997 GT3RS, if it was trying the tiv would look like it was on its warm up lap (rather than the other way round)

im borrowing steve rance's vid to even this out (like you borrowed the vid you reposted )

www.total911.co.uk/brands.asp

now be of with you russian tiv boys, and dont come back till youve got somthing impressive to show us overtaking

(rather than a vid reposted showing a tiv overtaking obviously more powerfull cars on their warm up lap)

edited to add - not only do our cars go faster but our vids are better too

keep trying!

punch hehe

Good video, Its clear Boss is a very good driver which acounts for more than car performance IMO, i think also that there is a higher % of TVR drivers have larger gonads which you need on track

Does anyone else think the porsche marque suggests (these days) that their cars are easier to drive at the limit? which in turn must atract the more fragile members of the Male race, dont you think

A load of stray dogs have appeared in the lounge and are yipping.

Here we go again!!

If you want more quick stuff in a Cerb, have a look at the other vids (click on his name in youtube) - Spa is particularily impressive. IIRC he laps it in about 2:53 with knackered brakes, having killed them at his *first* visit to the nurburgring. I believe he told me at the time he was certain he could do a 2:50 with fresh brakes, which - I'll happily stand corrected if otherwise - is the pace the Steve Rance laps in a GT3RS.

Btw Steve, fantastic video - I've seen some of your footage from spa and it never ceases to amaze me how smooth you are and make the car do all the work. thumbup Very very nice indeed.

Tell Boss TVR (Tequila, Vodka Redbull) i assume... to get his plastic arse down to Oulton on 16th March and bring lots of tape. he can also bring his brakes if he wants to.
