Been booking a couple of trackdays and this one popped up and seems like a good day.

What do you think as to, value for money and if it will offer me a good improvement when compared to other training days.

I like the fact that you're driving their VX220 for the morning session and then your own car in the afternoon.

you could try

www.trackdaysreborn.co.uk/

They use a Noble M12 GTO-3 and a modified Focus RS Turbo.
Tuition is good too, the guy that took me out was the ice car rally champion in s previous life. You also get a dvd of you session showing telemetry, forward camera and a view of you whilst driving.

I did an all day Gold session before I bought my 3R. The RS broke down (damn), so I had to do it all in the Noble yipeee. It's amazing how much you improve with good tuition. I was a snale at the start of the day, hardly passed anything. I was passing 5-6 cars per lap by the end of the day. A fantastic experience.

After tracking the GTO-3 I knew I had to have one.

I'd agree - also did a gold day before getting the Noble. As it was on an airfield track, no worries about hitting anything other than cones (which was handy as I spun the GTO3).

Did most sessions in the Noble, but the Focus is very quick and a lot of fun too!

Its about the same price as the course I'm looking at and it seems you get 24 laps in total (?) The course I mentioned would be about 50-60 laps I would think in the full day, with an instructor there for 30 of them.

I have a Noble so it seems odd to pay to drive one.?

Thanks though, definatly looks like a great laugh.

Course looks interesting Greg....

Sounds like you would get lots of track time.

How many people do they have there on the day? I would be up for doing something like this...

Cheers,

Elliott

MSV are also doing an open pit lane general trackday at the same time for 159 quid ... which I've just booked .

So come on, Snetterton is a proper racetrack with proper noise limits ... who else is coming?

Date: 3rd March 2007

Costs:
£159 Open pit lane
or
£399 including the advanced driving course.

Hi Guys,

I,ve now done two motorsport events academy days and they were great fun £99 for 1 and £130 I think for the second. I went with friends which made it much more fun.

If anyone is interested Myself (2.5) daddysummo (3r) and hopeful (by the end of the week) a guy from work (M10) have booked a PM novice day with motorsport vision at Brands 22 March £99.

This will be my first time on a proper track as I'm trying to prepair myself for the Noble trackdays.
