Anyone used Event Tyres in London..??
Discussion
The saga of trying to get my rear puncture fixed continues...
I happen to live round the corner from OPC West London but they are quoting two weeks before they can even get my car booked in (thanks...). All other options (incl indies, local Kwik Fit, etc) mean either trying to limp there with a broken tyre (no thanks..) or having the car recovered by Porsche Assist (pain in the arse..)
Was looking around for alternatives and came across Event Tyres. They come round to your house/office and fit the tyre there and happen to have my size in stock.
They are quoting £550 for fully fitting two rear Pilot Sports which is quite expensive but still much less than even my local Kwik Fit and much less hassle.
So... anyone used them? Bunch of cowboys? Would I be mad??
Cheers - Erik.

Used them for my everyday car and they were efficient and very competitively priced, arrived on time etc etc...the fitter wasnt the friendliest person but was good at his job(but then I wasnt paying for him to become my new best friend.
I particularly liked the jacking system that they use which is like a big ballon-I always get nervous that a place like kwik fit will use a poor jacking point.
Not had experience with a fitment above 17" or with run flats-these could be more challenging to carry out in the back of van
