All correct stuff slippy-diff, but your scan actually refers to the GT2 not the 996TT X-50, the GT2 engine has an even higher level of mods!
Same difference though I suppose as their official X-50 Powerkit info said this.....
"Porsche engineers achieved the increase in power and performance through modifications to the Turbo charger, the change air cooler, the control units and exhaust system in particular."

But I wasn't posting to be picky, just to say that the increase in volume is negligible, as will the extra power from the system alone. Porsche had to modify the ecu, turbos, intercooler & exhaust to get 30 horses!

The only way you will get a big difference in sound & grunt (20hp-ish) is with an after market system with 200/100 cell racing cats, but they aren't cheap!

Well done Grant3, ahem, well spotted ! , just testing to make sure you're awake

I took it for granted that the X50/ GT2 mods were the same. IIRC the upgraded intercoolers, turbos and exhausts are identical (not sure how the GT2 conjures up an extra 12hp mind), but I may be wrong...................

The mk1 GT2 runs the same turbos and exhaust at 1.0 bar rather than the 0.9 bar of the X50....... or so I'm told.

Not sure about the mk2 GT2 though, ie the extra 20ish bhp over the mk1.
