Nice thread eglf. pictures of cars doing what they do best.

Heres my first. I havent raced it yet, just finished getting it ready for this season. I will be testing it at Bruntingthorpe on Tuesday.

Morris Marina 1.8DL, used for 12 car rallies, autotests and PCTs until the floor rotted out.

my mini - still racing it now, its taught me that handeling is far more important than out and out power.

great fun, best thing i ever did, getting my finger out and getting involved.

just wish i had some more money

Another mini, prepared by my Dad (without whom I never would have got near a track!). Used for sprinting, it's in pieces right now for a winter rebuild - more power and more handling (well, more grip at any rate).

Taught me a fair bit about handling, such as don't lift:

Another Mini....



Started in Karting - This isn't the first car, but contains bits from my first purchase (also a Mini 7 does that count?) - recycled and re-shelled!

Motorsport is an itch that needs scratching.....

Modsports Midget. Factory alloy panelled, road registered as I couldn't afford a road car aswell. Silverstone 1986.
