I was just thinking, and was wondering, if you had a brand new 997tt engine, could you sell it back to porsche, or would you have to find someone else to sell it to?

Also what sort of prices- 15-20k euro?

Weird question i knowbiglaugh

Cheers,
adam

Can't see Porsche touching it with a barge pole unless you bought it off them directly and have a genuine receipt, is it "sealed" in some way ? if not, no way Pedro.

then again, if your your christian name happens to be Alois..........

Come on, tell all ............

I think Alois had to get a little involved. Rico Backhaus told him the info needed which was then sent through to VOSA. My car was put through normal SVA as low volume. Apparently RUF is recognised as a manufacturer the world over except in the UK! However, I think after my car went through, VOSA now recognise RUF as a low volume producer as well.

Thanks again for your help. Will call you when i pick my car up(if you are still in Germany!)

BTW...Johnny Wilkinson really is a god!!!
