The bonnet was ....as was.....all we did was remove paint and refit. This car originally was bought without an engine from TVR and a Rover 3.5 V8 was fitted from new and was used for hill climb events and from what I understand did very well.

An absolutely stunning job on the car. You are to be congratulated. How about a couple of more photos including the engine bay so we can see how the 4.6 looks in there?

The manifolds are very close to the chassis and we put in a tie bar to stop the engine rocking too much under the torque we did raise the engine slightly and have since changed the air filter to a pancake type rather than the edlebrock shown

Everything went nicely together with the R380 5 speed box and the Jag LSD we used did I mention the wilwood 4 pot ali calipers vented discs and fully adjustable suspension and polybush all round

I have a 3900M. My car had a 3500 rover until last year, but I use the car in the TVR sprint championship, So V8 developments installed a top hat linered 3.9. Since they have done that the manifold, under cold idle knocks against the chassis. What engine mounts did you use to raise the engine. Mine has inverted SD1 mounts at the moment.Your car is stunning by the way.
