Just spent all afternoon fitting a new bucket seat to the GT2 and had a quick look round for somewhere to put the harness.

Should be OK with the lap fixings as i can steel the seat belt bolt hole on the side and there is enough meat on the seat mounts to bolt an eye bolt to.

BUT where do you put the one or two rear fixing for the shoulder belts, i looked in the engine bay and i doubt i could get my hand in to put one on the bulkhead.

Any ideas ?

You need a harness bar or cage.

Shouldn't be needing to mess with eye bolts if you get the correct Schroth GT3 harnesses. There is a harness bar you fit onto the seat mount for the sub straps.

you should not really fit a harness without rollover protection, i.e a cage, imagine rolling and being strapped upright by the harness without the protection of a cage!

Do you mean a straight bar that fits across the back and bolts to where the rear seats, seat belt holes are located ?

Well you can get this, but frankly you may as well get a cage.

Thanks, just been looking and that harness bar for the GT2 cost almost as much as my 20 point SD cage in my BMW.

Think you right, might as well get a cage.
