Discussion
I have a remote bias adjuster cable that I am about to install. Looking at the bits and the available space to install it leaves me with some questions.
1. Without the remote adjuster the bar has to be locked for SVA. The kit did not come with lock nuts. Having found some it seems to me that if I locked the nuts up against the clevis it would not pivot. Does this mean I should lock 2 nuts against each other on both sides of the bar without them actually touching the clevis?
2. After your bias has been set up, how far would you turn the adjuster knob to make corrections for the current driving conditions? Is it just some clicks or a few full turns? The reason I ask is that with the adjuster fitted and a half locknut there will not be many threads of adjustment left.
3. It looks as if I can fit the cable without it clashing with the throttle lever. Have I done something wrong or different as I seem to remember earlier posts talking about fabricating new ‘dog leg’ throttle levers?
