Luca,
Have you tried www.norwichuniondirect.co.uk. They seem to be the key insurers for a lot of the agents anyway. Don't accept the online quote. Phone and haggle for another 10%. They like low mileage.

Last year Peart quoated me £690 Age 41, full protected no claims, garaged, no tracker required, 90 day green card.Although in the end had to go with TVR-Insurance (Norwich Union) as required 12 month green card and they were £1200.

The best quote I could find for my Tuscan was with www.privilege.com Might be worth a try? though I doubt they'll beat that classicTVR quote, presumably such a bargain due to the limited mileage?

Hi Luca

Strange, I'm insured with Tescos with identical details (only 2 years younger) and pay £650, try adding girlfriend/wife - it usually brings the premium down, which I never quite understood.

Cheers

2000 'W' Tuscan 4.0
Hampshire
Garaged
12,000 miles/year
Tracker
27 yrs old, only driver
5 yrs NCD protected

Barclays insurance : £770
This includes some sort of extra bonus for loyalty as I've been with them with my other cars for the last 4 years, but it's still a fair bit cheaper than the £1100+ everywhere else was quoting at.

Grrrrr!
Must be the speeds I travel at, causing the blast effect to prematurely age my skin.....guess you might not be familiar with that...yet

When I first started reading this thread, I thought it was a lonely hearts club, but now I see it's all about insurance.

Has no one noticed that 21TVR by name is obviously wishful thinking - 21 yrs old and 5 yrs NCD - think about it!!??!!

By the way, I'm 21 too , and fully protected NCD, with Sunninghill £671 for myself and spouse, parked in drive and driven daily. Basically, price seems to vary considerably depending on address more than anything else.
