Ok, I think I know the solution, but just to check.
Behaviour of drivers side window is as follows;
If, once the car is started and on the move, I open the window most of the way, when I come to close it, it stops at the level where it would come down to if I was to open the door?
Current work around, is when I stop, open the door, window drops a little further.. press the up button window goes up, back to the stop, then shut door, the window then goes all the way up?
I'm presuming, that it's getting confused if the door is open or closed? Am I on the right track?

I think this one is almost a TADTS. I experienced this about 3 times over the last 2 years, and have never worked out what I was doing differently at the time which could have caused it?!?!? On these occasions, the only way I have managed to completely close the window is to lock the car and set the alarm using the key fob.
